At Photokina 2012 DHW Fototechnik presented a strongly enhanced Hy6 under the name Hy6 Mod2.

After clarification and right release by the rights-owners further more and continuing modifications and improvements (firmware/hardware) are possible and will be made. The production of the Hy6 Mod2 and the known accessories is still located in Braunschweig, Germany.
